Hollywood fell in love with her energy and visual splendor, presenting countless surfing films and television shows over the years, as well as influencing the classic sounds of beach life inspired music, from such as bands as the The Beach Boys and surf guitar legend Dick Dale.
“Prima Luce” in Latin translates to “At first Light”. On this chilly and crisp winter morning, as the sun began to rise, chasing away the heavy costal mist, the silhouette of her iconic form exploded against the sun’s first light, giving birth to a new day in surfing paradise, and adding another perfect moment in the legendary life of Malibu Pier.
