What is Marshal Hilton Fine Art?
Marshal Hilton Fine Art ( MHFA ) is a Premium Luxury Brand of Fine Art photographic prints created and inspired by Actor and Photographer Marshal Hilton. MHFA sells Limited Edition and Open Edition photographic artwork through its online store.
Who is Marshal Hilton?
Critically acclaimed award winning character actor, visual storyteller, musician, landscape photographer, and creative muse. Marshal, a Southern California native, has spent his life as an artist in the bright lights of Hollywood’s movie cameras, creating characters and telling narrative scripted stories, and is now firmly positioned behind the camera telling visual stories through captured moments.
What does Limited Edition mean?
Limited Edition means that MHFA will only produce a select number of prints of each photograph. Once the edition sells out, the select image is retired forever. There will never be another reprint of that photograph in the current Edition, Size or “State”.
How many Limited Edition prints do you produce?
Marshal Hilton Fine Art Limited Edition print counts will vary on Collectors Editions and Signature Edition prints, but the general release count is from one to fifty signed prints*
*Select MHFA Limited Edition prints may have a larger release count. The edition print count is displayed on the individual works page.
Will you ever re-publish a Limited Edition artwork?
Never. When the Edition print release count is reached the image is retired forever.
What is an Open Edition?
Marshal Hilton Fine Art also offers Open Edition Prints. These Open Edition works are prints that have no limit to the number of prints produced, released, and sold. They are not numbered like our Limited Edition prints. We do have Marshal’s Signature digitally embedded on the front of the print and provide a Certificate of Authenticity verifying the work and sale date.
Are there any other Edition and Surface options available for collectors?

Marshal Hilton Fine Art Artist Proofs & First Printing
Artist Proof: AP
With each standard image release, ten percent of the edition count are held in reserve as numbered and signed Artist Proofs. These prints are personally signed “A/P” by Marshal, and considered as personal property to Marshal. They are highly collectable. Each print includes a note from Marshal highlighting the background story in the creation of the work. Contact an MHFA representative for prices and availability.
First Printing: FP
With each Limited Edition release Marshal reserves the first print in the series for his personal collection, or to be sold as the last print of the Limited Edition release. First Printings (FP 1/) are printed using Lumachrome Trulife® Acrylic, a Museum grade acrylic backing are ready to display.
As with Artists Proofs, First Printing’s provide increased value of your investment, are highly collectable, and can be purchased prior to the last print in the series being sold. Contact an MHFA representative for prices and availability.
Marshal Hilton Fine Art Panoramic Editions
Marshal Hilton Panoramic Editions are the largest of Marshal’s photographic prints. These sweeping images require a minimum of three individual panels to display the entire photograph. Each MHFA Panoramic is numbered and signed by Marshal and are available as a Limited Edition or Artist Proof.
Marshal Hilton Fine Art Collectors Editions
Collectors Edition works are exclusive, rare, and limited works from Marshal Hilton. These prints offer an additional level of exclusivity and collectability for collectors with only twenty-five premium prints or less available. Each image is numbered “CE /25” and signed by Marshal.
Marshal Hilton Fine Art Signature Editions
Signature Edition prints are the elite Fine Art collector commodity; a custom one-of-a-kind image that has been personally selected by Marshal, and uniquely produced to customer specs. Print Size, Surface Mounting, Frame, Liner and Finish will selected by the customer to create a Fine Art piece that will be truly unique for the exacting collector. These prints are hand signed by Marshal “SS 1/1” and considered to be among his most rare and valuable Fine Art works.
Will the price of the artwork change during the print Edition offering?
Yes. Investing early in the print run guarantees that you will be receiving the most competitive pricing available. As demand for one of Marshal’s Limited Edition Fine Art Photographs goes up, so too does the price.
